I'm going out this weekend and it's a 90% chance of rain...what to do with my HAIR???

I usually press my hair these days whenever I go out...but it's supposed to rain all day Saturday and I refuse to let the rain stop me!

But I am so "style challenged" that I have not really tried a whole lot of styles out on my hair and I'm not sure what to do with it since it's gonna be raining I don't have anyone here to do my hair and I was trying to avoid wearing it in a natural bun cuz I always wear it that way. I could try to make a "bigger" or more "stylish" I guess

Any suggestions on what to do with my hair??

I'm also going out this weekend, and it's suppose to rain, and I'm getting my hair done on Saturday. I'm going to use my good old Sabino Moisture Block because the rain won't mess it up.

If you wear your hair up, can you decorate it with some nice hair jewelry?

I would definitely go with a nice up-do, maybe accented with a nice scarf/headband, if you had sabino moisture block that would be a bonus, that stuff is so good against rain and humidity

How about a twist or braid out?

I agree with trying a braidout. That way if your hair gets a little damp from the rain, it won't ruin the style. You can just scrunch it and go. Just make sure you keep a little moisturizer with you.

When you get home, you can rebraid it to preserve the style for a few more days (if you don't feel like washing it right away).

I wear a silk scarf and a hat and when I get inside I take it off and enjoy myself and when its time to go I put all that back on, it has saved my almost 60 dollars press. I roll my hair up and make it nice and curly and then put the bonnet or scarf on and then the hat I only wear that outside once I get inside I take it off. I was amazed the first time my hair was saved and I been doing it every since. infact I keep a bonnet in my purse just for windy days and so forth and remove it when I get where i am going. I never care what others think so I never worried about strange looks or anything. Back in the day (before my time of course) woman had no problem getting their scarves out and wrapping up their hair when they went to and fro I have no ideal what happen to that time.
