i'm getting highlights on sunday, can i wash my hair today?

i really want to wash it today, but i'm getting highlights on sunday so i'm not sure if it even matters. figured i'd check just in case.

You might want to wash it and then do a protein treatment in prep.

You should use porosity control before ur color service. Its used to help prepare & receive the color.

Depending on the lightener and developer volume, it'll most likely eat it's way through whatever product you have in your hair anyway. I agree with Msmchy. A protein treatment beforehand is the way to go. Keep that protein and moisture in check afterwards!

yes and be sure to use protein
