I'm getting cornrows!

Yay! The girl that usually does my individuals for super dirt cheap offered...OUT OF THE BLUE to do my cornrows for free if I can wait til Saturday!!! wow!!! Of course I can wait! I will post pics when I am done. I haven't had cornrows in forever though.....how many packs of hair should I use if I want pencil sized braids that are relatiely close together on my big ol' head?

I would take at least 4 packages! BTW I was noticing your braid styles in your album, they are gorgeous! I can't wait to see the cornrows. I'm getting my cornrows next week too, I go to the cosmetology school and I'm only gonna be charged $15! I can't wait!

cornrows are great but on me they usually only last for like 2 weeks. I want to keep them at least for one month.

Grrrrr.....I had already asked another girl to ask her friend (who did my tree braids in January) to see if she could do them, but i know she will charge me and i just do not have the money. not even exaggerating...i literally cannot afford to take out money from the ATM because my account is not updated and I may overdraw if I use my card again. I am gonna tell her to hold off in asking her....but I would love to go over there again to get hair done only because she speaks just French.....its great practice and very fun...EXCEPT her bratty daughter.....man, girl smack ya kid and maybe she'll listen to ya! (man that kid kept grabbing my hair packs and when the mother would say "no no...mommy doesnt like that. give it here!" the kid would LITERALLY GROWL like she she was posessed!)

anyway....wow, 4 packs? hmmm.....last time when she did my individual braids, she used 2 packs and some of a third pack. if i buy one more pack of the hair i want to use, i think she will be able to make it stretch!

Maybe I was just thinking about the size of my big head, sorry , for cornrows I think that 2 packages should be okay maybe even 3 (just in case you run out of the 2 ).

i do cornrows with only one pack(jumbo kanekalon).

4 packs? maaaaaaan, thats alot.

i think you should bring 2 jumbo packs just in case. better to have too much than too little
