Hi Ladies,
Well, today for the first time I am wearing my hair down(a real milestone). I'm one of those who wants to have perfect wild hair. I never wore it down because it was so uneven and the crown area looked like a fro while the rest, as well as the nape, was long. It's been a year since I even thought about wearing it down. Well today, I decided to let it all hang out. I decided why worry about it not being perfectly in place. I see lots of naturals around here who probably should bun everyday, but they don't care. They're free! I looked in the mirror at the back and to my surprise, the fro is gone. My hair has grown out and filled in nicely. It looks really nice. Of course I'm wearing a week old roller set(it's the right level of poof, not too flat), but hey, it's not as uneven as I thought. I was seriously thinking about doing a mini BC and even out all of my hair. That meant going from APL unstretched to SL unstretched(making my goal of stretched MBL a long time away). People kept saying, no let it grow. I'm glad I did. It's still uneven and looks like layers BUT YOU CAN'T TELL IT'S REALLY UNEVEN! It's all black and blends in. I'm so thrilled and relieved. I feel so free now. I can wear my hair down! I know lots of women can't stand those that don't do the daring thing and wear their hair any kind of way but I just prefer the neater side of wild and I have it now.
