Had my 2yr old niece this weekend. Her mother asked if I would do two strand twist in niece's hair. Usually they take me a couple hours but this time it took 4hrs. Not sure the procedure but her mother did something to define her coils. It was hell trying to detangle her pretty thick hair....ugh

I think she was tired of me taking pictures
Cute Story
My niece and I were going through photo gallery on my phone and I was asking her who each person was until we came to me...
Me: who is this?
Niece: teedy
Then we came to this picture
me: who is this?
Niece: blank stare (shrugs shoulders)
me: that's teedie
Niece: NO! (eye brows frown) looking at me and then the picture again
me: niecey look (I took my glasses off) teedy without her glasses on
Niece: (gave me a look like "if you say so"
Final story
If any of you have followed my past posts about my dd's hair, some of you know there are times she makes me sooo mad for numerous reason but more so because "I" feel at 16yrs and 5-6 years of me teaching you how to do things she should be more hair savvy. Anyway to my surprise i came home the other day to this (which is a big deal in our house. I'm still combing my dd's hair) She looked up youtube and find a video on bunning. I was very proud of her.
