does anyone else here have a problem with tying their hair at night and then waking up with a big dent/line across their forehead in the morning?:look: Ladies, help me! What am I doing wrong here? Every morning when I go to work I can still see the trace of the line...it's usually gone by lunchtime. I'm afraid to tie the silk scarf at my hairline because i don't want it to break. Is it bc I have a big *** forehead:lachen: I can't be the only one with this problem:ohwell: help a sista out!!!!!!

lol yeah i thought about that last night when i put my silk cap on  i generally dont tie my hair up. i just sleep on the satin pillowcase, but i have a curly weave and i dont know how this hairs going to act so i just pushed it back towards my hairline no mark! yay!

LOL! You're not the only one with that problem. I also get the dent when I wear my plastic caps (either for deep conditioning or showering).

me too, and to think I never really thought it was that noticable, until my cousin called me out. I'm suprised they couldn't tell how I got the mark...doesn't everyone where a bonnet to bed???

nope!

 Ya'll are funny. Just don't tie the scarf so tight. I use to get that same intersection across my forehead from tying it so tight. Once I loosened it up, I didn't have that problem anymore. My little girl use to always have that problem, but again, I was tying it tight so that it wouldn't fall off at night. She now wears a bonnet, so she doesn't have that problem anymore. :ohwell:

LOL, I think everyone I know gets one or used to get the dent from the knot in the scarf, lol. Either you can wear a bonnet or get the satin scarfs that you can wrap around you head twice so that you end up tying it in the back over the first layer of the satin scarf, this way protects the hairline from getting caught or snagged in the scarf. HTH's

I used to have a permanent line from homemade "stocking" caps. It stayed for many years. I actually thought it was still there till I checked before placing this post!

Girl....high school senior photo for the year book....fresh wrap, but tied my scarf too tight. Woke up with a nice big dent from my scarf straight across my forehead, clear as day, and even MORE visible when I smiled, and you have to smile for year book pictures.

Thank GOD for airbrush....

Just tie a bit looser

I forgot to mention... I stopped getting the marks on my forhead when I started to use a different kind of bonnet from maverickwear.com

Girl, you are not alone. I just can't do the satin/silk scarves. I try not to tie it too tight and then it just falls off during the night. I bought a satin head wrap( long piece of satin with velcro at the ends) and secure my hair with that and then i place a silk/satin bonnet on top. It works better than the whole scarf thing:p
