...not just for dc's, but to actually get your hair dry

do you use a heat protectant or just your leave-in/moisturizer?
 
It depends on how I'm styling & what heat setting I'm using; generally I do use a heat protectant though. The one time I don't is when I'm sitting under the dryer (low/medium heat) to speed the drying process of a wet bun; I do however have my hair tied down to keep it sleek & I baggy my ends so they don't dry too fast.
 
I would. I did back when i was wet setting I luved my hair

I use my hood dryer for aphogee treatments..
I DC w a heat cap......
 
i just realized i never use heat protectant and i have a bottle just sitting there lol
 
I don't and haven't in the past. I do use grape seed oil, so maybe that helps but I have zero heat damage so I plan to safe the heat protection stuff for direct heat
