Setting aside naturally-occurring and inevitable hair loss, if you had to retain every bit of hair growth possible, what do you think it would take? (Regimen: steps, products, schedule, routine, tools, items, salon visits, etc.?)

Money is no object.

Time is no object.

I'd do everything that NaturalManeNYC said, but instead of doing stretched styles, I'd put my hair in some human hair extension braids and re-do them individually as my hair grows out. Braids with human hair wasn't as harsh on my hair as synthetic, and I managed to retain all my inches for the year and a half I wore them.

Low manipulation styles, protecting my ends with castor oil, regular scalp massages, lots of deep conditioning, combing only once a week with conditioner on my hair/under the shower, absolutely no heat, taking MSM capsules helps as well.
