how long does it take for u to finish beauty school and become certified? my friend and i are really into hair and we are thinking of becoming stylist. thanks

To become a licensed cosmetologist in most areas in 1500 hours. Then you would need to pass the board certification for your state. According to the Dudley site, the school I am going to soon, full time is one year and part time 16 months.

I am currently a teacher and I want to new career in cosmetology. I was the bootleg girl in high school and college, so now I am ready to do the real thing.
