I wondering should i get a short cut or let it grow out. My mother doesn't want me to cut it she thinks its fine:perplexed but i hate the way it looks when i get out of the shower. I really want to cut it but i hate to go back to SL when I'm inches(2in) away BSL...But i want to the thicken in my hair back. I'm not sure what to do?

BTW I had highlights:wallbash: and everytime i kept asking" Is my hair getting thin to you" then the stylists would say "Nah gurl it look good":nono:and i still have some highlights in but couple of months ago i dye it black. I am soo lost:sad:

TIA

I had a similiar situation, including the conversation with the stylist knowing my hair was not right in the back. My crown was suffering from the color plus illuminator application, but I could work with that. When my nape started suffering I had no idea until I opted to wear my hair down one week instead of a curly roller set.

It was not a good look-long straggly ends and the nape way up at my neck. I had her to cut it off. She wanted to trim gradually but I just took it off. If I had it to do over I would probably trim gradually and work on nurturing my nape. I would stick with curly sets as they disguised the thinner ends better than trying to wear my hair down.

Yea, i was thinking that too

I would try incorporating some b-50 and Biotin to thicken those strands. Castor Oil in your DC and as a sealant helps too.

P.S. I would just trim gradually

I agree with the other suggestions with wearing more curly styles. If you do decide to cut just work on two inches at a time. Cut two inches and wait until you regain those inches to cut again. Gradually you will be able to cut off much of the thiness while not feeling the shock of starting over.
