IDEAS: Looking For Pictures of Shorter Hairstyles for Older Women

TrustMeLove

................
My mentor (and First Lady) is looking to cut her hair in a no fuss style for 2009. Right now she gets a press n curl about every 2 to 3 weeks. She has a blond color in it and it is shoulder length. Oh she is like 50, but looks like 40.

She wants to get it cut and we were thinking maybe a short chemcial wavy style, but her stylist no longer does chemicals...so now we are like hmmmm? What else?

So can you ladies help with any ideas. I'll take chemical styles, staight styles, and anything else you can come up with. THANKS!

Girl, I thought you meant Michelle Obama! I think she should rock a style that she's comfortable with. I don't believe in "aged" hairstyles because they make you look aged. Good luck though. I guess I wasn't much help.

Interesting. I think some stuff isn't appropriate though. lol Like one side long and the side shaved off. That is why I gave some details.

Here's a couple of pics...not all of them are blonde though so use your imagination

I don't know the shape of her face, but I believe these are age appropiate.

I think she should not cut her hair into her nape.... maybe cut it Just to the nape ALL the way around (like a bob) no bangs.

That way she can straighten it for a sleek look. Do braid outs and wash and gos or sets whether her hair is natural or processed.
