When I decided to get on the bun challenge back in September I went right to Claire's to invest in some hair accessories to jazz up my buns. I like using hair sticks, scrunchies, jaw clips, etc. Try Claire's or www.hairboutique.com for some great, easy to use accessories.

Here's what I've done with my Donut....

Praise God! Thank you!

You take two old sweat socks or one sweat sock and an old black knee-hi, cut the toe out and roll them into a 'donut'

You make a ponytail and push the hair through the donut hole.
Then you splay/spread the ponytail opened. Brush smooth hair with a boar's hair brush against donut

Take a scruncci or one of those little cotton ponytail holders, open it and close it around the hair and donut.

Voila!

In of the lieu of the socks you can use fake hair or buy the stuffer in the BSS.

DSD, has a great visual in her album.....

I do Lorraine's trick and pull the bun to the side. For some reason, it adds a little something and I get loads of compliments. Also, you can see the bun from the front so you don't look scalped from the front.

I do this also, wear a side bun (I get lots of compliments with this too!) or a low bun in the back. In my album, I have an example of a low braided bun with a silk ribbon around it. So quick and easy to do.

I like wearing flowers also and hair sticks. :yep:
