I'm slowly transitioning away from commercial products (all of my staples are natural anyway) and I'm trying to find a great leave-in product with silk in it. Anything with no-low cones would be great. I know some of you use straight up saa, but before I invest I need a cheaper way to try it. Thanks for the input ladies! I want to try LTR but the cones are to high up...stil thinkin' about it tho!

Thanks! I have a little money to spend thanks to tax season.

Could you add a small amount saa to your favorite leave-in (homemade or store bought) to make it cost effective? I love the way HE LTR smells, but the cones leave my hair dry the next day.

It's not as expensive as you think. I use the Lotioncrafter silk aa and the 8 oz bottle i bought in June just ran out. So, it goes a long way. They also sell smaller sizes (1, 2, and 4 oz) if you want to try it out first w/o spending alot.
