IC Fantasia vs ECOStyler??

I prefer ecostyler. It spreads easier and it made my curls pop easier when I was natural. IC gel, I had to work harder and use more when I wore a wash n go.

IC Fantasia Gel with Sparkelites.
Purified Water Aqua , Glycerin , Carbomer , Triethanolamine , Aloe Vera Gel , Dimethicone Copolyol , Tocopherol Acetate , Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein , Polysorbate-20 , Benzopehonoe-4 , Methylchloroisothiazolinone , Methylisothiazolinone , Disodiium EDTA , Fragrance

Eco Styler Styling gel
Water , Carbomer , Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein , PVP , Glycerin Triethanolamine , Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate , Polysorbate 20 , Tetrasodium EDTA , Fragrance

They don't contain the same ingredients unfortunately. I think one would prefer the IC Fantasia over Eco because IC Fantasia has a cone in it, which a lot of ladies love. It also has aloe vera in it, which is great for the hair. And the wheat protein is further down on the list which usually means there isn't as much as in as there is in the Eco Styler Gel. However, because I'm all for as less chemicals as possible I would definately prefer the Eco Styler. I have not tried these and will not try but I've heard rave reviews on them. I get my gel from aloe vera or aubrey organics or QB.

IC Fantasia gel sucked booty for my hair. It did not hold a darn thing and my hair was frizzy and I did not get the smooth wet look that I get with my normal gel! So I HOPE the two gels don't perform the same because I'd like to try the Eco.

The first and only gel that I have used is EcoStyler Olive Oil. It doesn't flake and my hair is so soft when pull my hair into a ponytail.

i have to say i.c gel..
its thinner than eco styler gel. so easier to put on, im prettty sure the cone in it is water soluble. it doesnt flake like eco styler gel. and since it doesnt contain PVP. it doesnt stick mutliple curls together.making them stick out.

i use i.c olive oil tho.
i remember i tried the clear before and didnt lik it.

also i.c gel is easier to wash out than eco styler. which can take a lil while. ecostyler also doesnt lik products put over it. so it you dont wash it out before you put oon your conditioner. it will have a bad reaction.

I've only use IC because that's all my bss has. It works fine when I use it, but I have to dilute it with a bit of water before I put it in my hair

IC worked great for my transitioning hair but I like the ecostyler much better now that I'm natural

I don't like either one. I used both and although I was satisfied with the look I got. I hated the way they made my hair feel. Hard and gummy. I don't use gel anymore. But for the cheap price you can't go wrong with either I guess.

I've used both and they're pretty similar on my hair..but Eco comes in a large jar whereas IC's gel does not. So for value I go with Eco olive oil..

I use both and love them both but for different applications.

Ive actually shingled half my hair with each product and the ecostyler side was more defined and held up the elements better than the IC side also used both products for twist outs and preferred the IC results b/c it kind of "sets" the wave pattern from the twists better than ecostyler

I prefer ecostyler olive oil (the clear one makes my hair hard) for shingling my hair. I have thick 4b hair and the thick consistency of the ecostyler really allows my hair to separate, clump, hold without getting hard and with using less product

the IC olive oil I prefer for twist outs and 2 stand twists where I require more hold. I get more hold and definition from twistouts with IC but it doesnt last as long as the ecostyler and is a bit more hard (maybe b/c i use more product)

If I had to choose 1 though I wud choose the ecostyler b/c I guess I cud use it for twist out etc if I just used more product

Definitely IC. Eco styler didnt give me that slick/wet & wavy look on my edges like the way IC does -- i think it's the glycerin & aloe. the eco styler is soo nasty to co-wash out - co-washes turn it white and gloopy....so basically every time i use eco styler i have to shampoo it out after...where as fantasia IC rinses cleaner even with a simple co-wash....fantasia ic FTW!!!
