Can someone please post a picture of what rods you use or would recommend on collar length relaxed hair?

Do you have a picture of the rods actually in your hair so i can see the pattern that was used?

Do you have a step by step guide or is it just like putting in rollers?

Thanks to both of you. Thats exactly what i'm looking for. :yep:

I have chin length in the front... I got a bunch of yellow flexis and they make the curls too tight... I prefer the orange ones there... in fact the orange pretty much handles my somewhere between neck & shoulder length in the back as well... a few places I could use a bigger rod...

So these basically give you the same kind of curls as the curlformers? I don't see a difference.

Curlformers cost substantially more, don't require, wrapping, and dry faster.

I recently did a flexirod set on my Sister-In-Law's hair with Dlewis' step by step as a guide: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=191595&highlight=flexi

Here are the results of the set I did on my sister in law:

You should probably use red or smaller rods, but this was my first time doing a set so I'm no expert. Hope this helps.

You did a great job with your SIL's hair. It came out beautiful! You wanna come do mine

Mook's your's came out very pretty also.

I've never tried flexi roda but they look pretty easy to set. I never seen a bad flexi rod set. Can't wait to try it when my hair gets longer.

Curls from Flexi rods last longer, imo
Curls from the Curlformers seemed limp to me

OP, I have pics of both in my fotki under natural hair.
I recommend flexi rods. Either the blue or the red. My hair is about CBL
