I'm trying to transition, I'm only 11 wks in but...... I have the type of hair peolpe want but I can't deal with. I'm a 4b thick long coarse and hell to deal with. At first i was doing braid outs and twista out worked great, but now my hair won't do anything it's driving me crazy. As we speak (type) I'm sitting at work with my hair wet and pinned up because there is nothing I can do. I'm really needed some advice bad before I just go back to the relaxer which irriatates my scalp. Plus I look at all the natural hair on this forum, how curly and beatiful it is I don't think my natural hair will be as pretty

I think getting the Kinky twist are the best way to go, I had them on from February through July. Prior to that my new growth felt harsh and horrible (just like a brillo pad), and I couldn't do anything with it unless I used a relaxer. While I had the twist in, I would moisturize every other day with a mixture of Moska oil, Carol's Daughter
