I dyed my hair blue last year and it was pretty easy. I found videos on YouTube that helped me to find the right products to use to get the color I wanted. I would follow @KinksAndInk's suggestions and look to others who have done it. It's not that hard at all, IMO.

I miss my blue hair, but unfortunately it all fell out during that time since I was still relaxing my hair, using heat, skipping on deep conditioning treatments, and doing all sorts of crazy things to it.
