I'm a little bored. I'm tryna see if I want to get my hair braided, but I just got my edges back so I'm hesitant about getting twists or micros. Maybe I'll just try a new leave in or moisturizing conditioner...I dunno...No matter how much I moisturize, my hair feels a little dry ( I think from flat irons last week :perplexed) Any suggestions? The leave in I'm using now is Motions or Appoghee but I don't like it. My moisturzing Con is Humecto (but lately it hasn't been doing me right :ohwell: or an ORS Replenishing Pak

When I go home I might need to do a chelatin poo because of the hard water up here :nono:

Gimme something CHEAP to buy at Sally's tommorrow to experiment with lol

Anybody got any coupons?! lool maaaan I lost that $5 off coupon too....UGH

The Sally generic brands were a big hit on the boards last week. They may have a moisturizing conditioner for you.

HEY! Im going to sallys as soon as I get up tommorow LOL....I want to try a conditoner also, need it to be cheap too dont want to go over 10 (5/6 really :look:), Conditoners I use are ORS replenish and silicon mix, leavins i've only used a couple aphogee and motions included and I didnt really like those either, I loved the way motions smelled though and the price...ingredients too.

Im thinking about trying
* Creme of Nature Moisture Extreme Conditioner- 7.99/7.79 w/card, 20 oz's
( I tried the Cream of nature healing conditoner, its 4.99/4.79, I think its 16 oz's....It was aaiiight :ohwell:)

*Park Aveneu Hydrate, its a generic version of Redken All soft, 7.99/5.99 10.1 0z

Maybe you can try the Sallys generic version (GVP) Leave-in treatment Sebastian Potion 9
I saw a couple of people talking about it

5.99
5.49 w/your card

6.8 oz (kinda small :ohwell:)

Oh yea, you can try some paks too, I tried the Silk Elements moisturizing conditoner (the one that about $10 reg, its on sale for like $7 btw too) and it was okay.

That Conditioning Balm and (GVP) Leave-in treatment Sebastian Potion 9 are calling my name. I'll prolly get that and that Smoothing Serum since I don't own a Serum and Sally's has that buy 2 get one free sale!! (I'm soooo excited lol!)

I think you can go on Sally's website for the coupon. I also think someone posted it here. Also note that Potion 9 is a protein treatment, so if protein makes your hair dry take note. I know Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose isn't too cheap but OMG the moisture is heavenly! Also, it's not sold at Sally's. Have fun at shopping!

DANG....fareal? Well hmm I need to find a good leave in that is moisturizing cuz I think my hair has had enough of protein for awhile:ohwell:

GVP Conditioning Balm and Smoothing Serum :love2:

I also like Conditioner, which is their version of Paul Mitchell The Conditioner. It's a good leave in and the bottle is huge! A little goes a long way, too. If you use too much, your hair will dry stiff. Ask me how I know :ohwell: When I use this and seal with Smoothing Serum, my hair airdries soooo soft. Love it!

Let us know what you get tomorrow, Krissy! :D

Love the shirt Soror :grin::grin::grin:

You definitely need more moisturizing products but finding just the right products isbasically a trail and error. I always use Motions Moisture Plus Conditioner and Motions Hair Dress for Medium to Coarse hair but I do switch to other products but never those two.
Sorry I don't have any suggestions of specifically which products to purchase :nono:.

Hi Soror - SororTLC1020 is right - it is truly trial and error...I am diggin' that Kiya Fizzle right now where you put a little salt in your moisturizing condish. I am about to do it in a about 30 minutes. You can pretty much add it to any moisturizing condish to get extra slip and moisture. I am using Lacio Lacio right now for my roller/wraps (that is only style I know how to do) :) But if you just got your edges back, I would hold off on the braiding for a minute...don't want a setback...

HTH

castor oil! it's cheap and if you dc with it only overnight your hair will be amazingly moisturized the next day
i didn't believe it till i tried it.
