Thanks guys for your respones because this morning before i left I was bouncing around the house thinking i was all cute and what not....asked my DH if he liked my hair and he just plan out said "No!, you know i don't like weave it looks fake.".....y'all know that just hurt my little heart.

But with the help of Tee and her encouraging word and you ladies I feel so much better.

Naw, he KNOWS it's fake that's why he's biased, because it doesn't look fake at all.

A lot of men just have issues with wigs/weaves for some reason. The dude I was seeing kept trying to get me take off my wig, talking about "I wanna see the real you". :rolleyes:
 
I know that is what it is, just hurt my feelings is all. He just called talking about i miss my wife.....whateva I'm not trying to hear that.

I have to admitt I had lots of attention today and it felt great!!!!! Nothing like a little added attention to boost the esteem.

Well the way I did it there was not much combing required. The pictures you see me doing it was a test run. I actually went home washed, blow dried my hair and flat ironed it. So when i added the hair there was no combing. I flat ironed a little more at a lower temp to make sure the hair blended well and after that i just used my hand to comb down.

I plan on taking the hair out (of course making sure i put the hair in order of how i took it out so i can but it back in right) and detangling the ends. Moisturize my hair and wrap it.

I will put it back in in the morning because it only takes 8-10 to do. So i think with my process there is no pulling.

Not if you don't want to. i wear one with all my hair back and just wear a cute scarf matching my outfit on the front (like a headband). I've done that with my hair cornrowed underneath.
 
Are you talking about quick weave or the snap on hair pieces? I use a scarf with my 3/4 wigs as well. But now that i think about i can see using a scarf around the edges of my hair.

Thanks sweetness! It's a half wig, and all I did was part my hair from ear to ear, pinned the wig in, smoothed my hair over the demarcation line ,and there are 2 barettes in the back.


Are the BJ clip ins human hair or synthetic? Not sure if you answered this yet.
 
its syntheic but you can use heat on this brand.
