I TRIED SALERM AND HATED IT!!

Ok I know I am in the minority on this but I got my touch up today and used the salerm. I know the girl put too much in because when I got home and unwrapped my hair it was a thick tangled mess! It felt so sticky and I could barely put my hands through it. I then had to wash and roller set my hair again at home I tried to use it again this time using only a little. I noticed nothing different about my hair. No sheen no silkiness nothing. I amn going to stick with my Kerare leave in. Sorry ladies I tried to join in on the salerm bandwagaon and I just couldn't.

Sorry to hear this.. it's a bummer. I like Neutrogena Silk Leave in better than Salerm but I still like Salerm too.

I just bought some on eBay. I hope I like it. I know too well about jumping on bandwagons & the products did nothing for me.

i hated it as well. But the majority of the ladies who love it say u r only supposed to use a tiny dollop (dime size) amount for ur entire head. My stylist used a quartersize amount and my hair was a mess. I HATED that puffy/uberthick look

Yeah that thick look was horrible. But even when I put the dime sized amount I noticed nothing special. Won't use it again

It shouldn't be used "with" anything. Setting Lotions. Other leave ins.....the beauty of Salerm is that is has all you need and the silk proteins actually penetrate and help strengthen and soften the hair. I like it because its not a s"cosmetic" leave in. It actually benefits the hair.

But if the Keracare works stick to it!

I wanted to love Salerm too and even tried it after the Wheat Germ Mask last week. It still left that sticky coated feeling. It's not trash worthy, but I won't re-purchase.

I use too much once and my hair had a lot of buildup so I just use a dab and my hair turns out great its my favorite.

I will try it again mixed with water in a spritz bottle to see what will happen. But then again, my hair's a "weirdo" and I will probably look like an over grown "Chia Pet".

I also felt the same until I used about a nickel sized amount and now i love the stuff.
