I took out the weave last night.....

I have my hair in cornrows with no extensions. I am excited because there is no more relaxer in my hair

Yeah! My hair looked really good aftyer being in the weave for 9mos. Anyway....I was thinking about trying two strand twists or SOMETHING that I can get away with for work. Pressing is out until the fall or winter any suggestions?

Unfortunately, I do not have any suggestions. I am so happy that your hair is looking good in its natural state. It is a beautiful thing to have healthy natural hair----Good Hair!!!!

Auntybe,
Maybe you should take down your cornrows, and pin your braid-out curlies
into a nice conservative updo with bobby pins.

If you decide on the twists, they would look great down or pinned up.

When I used to have natural hair, I would make 2-strand twists with a part
on the side, and tie the twists down so that they would lay flat against
my head to try and emulate the look of a tapered Toni Braxton cut. This worked
because my shoulder length hair would shrink abou 80%!!!

I'm glad you're excited about your natural hair!!!

Good idea Xtal - take out the cornrows and pin up your textured hair or your twist. I am thinking about doing this for this winter.
