Okay, I've posted countless threads and spend hours and $$:look::wallbash: on how to combat dryness well today I may have stumbled onto something. I have never pre-pooed before so today I tried pre-pooing with Body shop moiture mask I let it sit for several hours then I shampooed my hair with Chagrin Valley's shea rose slay, next I ACV rinse which I followed with Body shop Honey moisturizing conditioner (love that condish) and my hair felt soooo good:lick: my coils were popping and my kinks felt like butter:blush:. Now on my quest to ahieving the softest hair possible for the longest time possible I will see how long my hair can stay moisturize for without product (no leave-in, moisturizers, oils) until I need to moisturize my hair and untill my nxt wash day. By the way I am a 4a/b and I know for a fact that I am not the only one whose been struggling with this so I plan on continuing this series until I have perfected my moisturizing reggie.

When my hair was dry as the Sahara a few years ago, adding honey to my conditioner turned that around immediately, so I am not surprised that the honey condish helped to combat the dryness you have been experiencing. I remember how relieved I was to finally find something that worked for my dry hair, so I imagine that you feel the same.

Good for you. I'm trying to find that perfect regimen that won't need me to constantly have to add leave ins/moisture in between co-washes.

I love teh body shop honey moisturizing conditioner. That stuff is god sent. Helps with tangles, smells great, and makes my hair silky.

Sometimes I add some extra honey to it and apply a plastic cap. Then I sit under the dryer.

I didn't know they had a moisture mask. I am going to check it out.

Yeaaaaaah! I'm so happy for you.

Pre-pooing and ACV rinses have been so helpful for me too. I add honey and EVOO to my weekly DC treatments and my hair is now always soft. My hair wasn't like this pre-LHCF. My NG is very manageable b/c of what I've learned on LHCF.

I did try to not use a leave-in but after 2 days I my ends would start to feel a little parched and they would matte together.
