Hi. Ladies. I beleive i purchased the wrong color. Me trying to be so quick to try it. I bought the Jamila kind. But i wanted the indigo for black hair. What color does the jamila kind turns your hair? I'm so lost. I've read a lot about on the website you all posted but i just want to be sure i've read it correctly. Thanks:confused:

Indigo isn't henna. Jamila is Henna (red). The Jamila may give you red tones if it's not released (just mix and apply with no heat).

www.hennaforhair.com sells indigo

Awww, it's too bad you're looking for black hair. Jamila is good stuff. One of the best IHMO. :yep: It's worth doing a strand test on some havested hair just to make sure you don't like the color. Jamila conditions like nobody's business and it's a breeze to rinse out.

ETA: FYI
henna = red
indigo = black (aka black henna)
cassia = no color change (aka neutral henna or senna)
