Britt I enjoyed your new pics. Your relaxed hair looks healthy and thick. Good luck with your transition and keep us posted.

Very pretty pics!! I love the idea that you are transitioning. I hope one day to break free of the relaxers but it is hard girl. Good Luck!!

Yes it is! My mom tried to discourage me today. She got to me a little too. But, I am determined to stick with my decision. The thought of having a big, thick and soft head of hair is enough to keep me going.

Brittany, even though you said you hair was underprocessed in your photos, it still looked beautiful, shiny and thick. Good luck with transistioning, Im sure it can only get better

Hey, congrats girl....your hair is soo thick, it is going to look really nice natural. Try not to get discouraged, a lot of my family members did not agree with my decision at first to go natural, and it got me thinking. BUT it was a good decision, I don't regret it, I only regret that I was not very informed when I was 15, about how to really transition. I can't lie, I had a lot of breakage, but I know that from this board you have gotten great advice on how to care for hair in transition. So, congrats again...and happy-nappy growin!!!!!!

How did it become underprocessed? Did you try to relax it yourself?

I tried to use a potein conditioner after I got a relaxer. It was that Cathy Howse women who told me to do it. I guess what she does is not fo me.
