I received my Monoi Oil !!!

I just received Ylang Ylang and Tipanie Monoi oils. They smell heavenly, yet very light. I smoothed some and my hair and Im loving these. Question to Allandra and others: Did your oil look cloudy in the bottle? One of mine does, but otherwise, it seems ok. I love the little gardinias in the bottles!

Mine looks pretty clear!! I LOVE my monoi oil!

Hmm...I wonder why mine is cloudy...looks like pieces of coagulated coconut or something....the other is fine...

It sounds like the coconut oil just isn't completely dissolved (which is quite normal).

Mine looks cloudy, too. Sometimes it's solid. But once I put the bottle in a cup of hot tap water for a minute or two it looks normal.

Especially since it is cooler outside, the oil will solidify somewhat!

Thanx DSD. I figured that, but the other bottle is clear. OK I just cheked my bottles and they are both solid! Guess Ill have to put in warm water tomorrow am!

No, no, no! It is not the same consistancy or texture! It is really just scented coconut oil. Very light to the touch. HTH
