Does anyone use this as a deep treatment or stand alone(not following the Aphogee damaged hair treatment) conditioner?

I have used it both alone and after treatment. I like it better as a stand alone, but I've felt that so many other conditioners were better suited to moisturize if I'm experiencing dryness. Otherwise, it's pretty good on well moisturized hair as maintenance.

HTH!

I used it once as a conditoner wash and my hair came out great! I really like the smell of it. It reminds me of lemons.:)

its good on its own but after aphogee i need something like dpr-11 to balance out the moisture after a treatment

I thought I was the only one that like it!!
I like the smell, the consistency and the way my hair felt....

Ditto on what the other ladies said tho...Its prolly not that great for After Aphogee as they advertise it. I've had my own experience with that.....

thanks MizaniMami!

I've tried it as a deep conditioner and it didn't cut it :nono: It did absolutely nothing for my hair but leave it a hard tangled mess! IMO this is one of the worst conditioners I've ever tried.

Is that the one that kind of smells orangy? I remember not liking it too much :-( It didn't seem to do any conditioning for me.

It sucked and it stank. It smells like rotting oranges and did nothing for my hair. I had to recondition after using it.

In an effort to recover from my PJism, I found a bottle of this and decided to use the rest of it, it worked pretty good, I used it as a mini, 3-minute-DC on me and my sons hair and it was very moisturizing, although I remember not liking it when I used it before...maybe my hair was in a different state.

I used it on my ends with Sally's version of the TIGI Bedhead Split Ender. It balances the Split Ender Leave-In because the Split Ender can make you hair feel a little hard. However, when you put a little of the stuff on with a little of the moisturizer (rubbed in the hand). It makes my ends nice and they feel pliable and not dry. Works especially nice after a fresh dusting or trim. It helps keep the ends seal the ends which in turn gives hair a nice shine.

Thank you.

I've got this, but only use it after a protein treatment (which I currently do with eggs). I don't think it conditions that well either.
For me it serves the purpose of making the hair manageable again after the protein treatment. After using the balancing moisturiser I condition my hair with something better (like Humectress).
