After 6 years, my hair is getting worse and worse. So, I'm going to leave it be for 2010. Found this wig on hairsisters.com and I love it. Part of the problem is that I want the kind of hair I can't have. It's not in my gene pool.

I'n sorry to hear that CG...maybe leaving it alone will help! ... Wig is hawt though!
btw... what kind of hair do you want?

cute wig.

btw, that type of hair doesn't grow out of anyone's head, so it isn't in anyone's genes. The style can be easily achieved on almost any 3/4 type hair with a flat twistout, using small twist sizes, though.

Hey CG!

I feel ya, I want wash n go hair, but it just ain't happening. Just love what you have!

I'm weaving it up ASAP.

I feel you girl!
I watch these wash and go tutorials on youtube and go what the heck!
My hair never does that!
It took me along time to realize that everyones hair cannot do the same as others.
Im wearing a weave cap that i made and im going to wear it for the next 6 months or so. Just leave my hair alone until it gets a certain length and try alternate styling.

I'm wiggin it up until June so I'm right there with you ! I was thinking about going natural (16 weeks post) but my hair stays dry, rough, and kinky, every now and then I may see a coil but the natural path is not looking too promising to me. I'll make up my mine in the Summer. Good luck on your hair journey.

I have type 4 a/b hair (with two, roughly 1/2 inch patches of 3C) and I feel like it is wash and go and it is short. I just wish I had a smaller head to pull the look off. I would definitely be wearing my own hair out if I did. I will be wiggin' it for the rest of the year. I am hoping to have about 7inches of growth by 2011. :D

Yeah, that's the genes I'm talking about.
