I was sitting at home one day, and I was watching youtube tutorials etc. Whilst watching I came across a woman crying because her mother accidentally cut 2 inches, instead of 1.
I mean the chick was balling. She was crying like she was at a funeral.
I was really confused, and shocked. I thought is this the general consensus when people lose more hair than they should? So I browsed other hair forums. There I came across posts of females saying they wanted to 'die' when the hairdresser cut off too much.
I was laughing about it with my BFF, and saying how emotional and suicidal some females are about their hair. She gave me the sideeye because she's been watching my hair journey, and has seen me become a product junkie overnight
. Anyway she dared me, 'I dare you to cut it off.' I gave her the look, like what am I, 9yrs old?
Then she started making all these sweet promises. I'll wash your clothes, I'll iron blah blah. Well right now it's hard times.... I know some ladies feel me on that. Recently my phone bill blew up. So I told her, pay my phonebill.
I got the scissors, and cut to neck length. She said no, you have to go higher. I went to ear-length, she said nope. The b**** made me bald. She then proceeded to pick my hair from the floor, and say she'll try and make some extensions from it. I couldn't help but think she just wanted to buy my hair from the get-go, and she tricked me.
I duno what to think.....
Anyway I've attached pics of how my hair used to look, and my BC ofcourse.
ETA: My head is kinda big. I wish I knew that before I started to cut. But it's alright... hair grows.
If anybody would like to give me any tips [I've never had hair this short] I'm all ears. TIA
