Do you? My fave are the ones that come from Whole Foods. I know that sounds all saddity and what not  but the plastic is softer and more flexible than the ones from Walmart, etc.

The main reasons for the preference is that they don't leave that darn dent along your forehead AND they're gentler for those of us who have fine or fragile hairlines. The gathering on the plastic cap tends to rub up against the hairline during the night. Yep, I've tried folding the cap back over itself, etc.

For a quick jaunt under the hair dryer with a lot of juicy product, the plastic cap might trump the grocery bag. Lately though, I've been covering my hair overnight after moisturizing (a personal challenge is going on) and the Whole Foods grocery bag reigns supreme!

I have been so interested in this. I haven't tried it yet and I dont know what I am waiting on. I have tons of bags around here.

I will have to gone down a few notches and use the regular ole Kroger bags. giggles. No Whole Foods here.

I just checked and you're right. Target's bags DO have the same softness as the Whole Foods bags!!! I'll be putting those off to the side as well. Thanks!

Good point...I've never thought about using grocery bags, and I since I baggy overnight, I would love to wake up in the morning without that huge dent across my forehead.

I also use grocery bags

I use anykind except for the generic red and white ones that just say Thank You on the bag. It is a great way to save money and they catch more leaky liquid and hold it in better than any plastic cap. There really is no benefit to using a real plastic cap IMO:)

I don't like plastic caps. The elastic on them irritates my skin when it gets wet.

Plastic grocery bags are definitely a staple.

I like plastic bags too mainly because they're readily available and free. Lately I've been saving those super thin vegetable bags. I like them too. I haven't tried the wholefoods bags, but I did notice the Target bags were less noisy. :yep:

Never thought about using grocery bags but I'm glad I saw this thread because I was going to buy more plastic caps this week!

i've been using the plastics bags as of late. i used to always use them when i was in college. they work great.

I agree... I have been using them for years:up:

Yes, girl...I use those two and they fit nicely, just the way I like it!:p

I've used whole foods plastic bags to deep condition for some time now. They really hold the heat in:D

I also don't like the thinner bag we get from stop n shop (those you have to double up)

and SO said I would be the only person doing this kind of wierdness (yeah right!! )

I  me some plastic bags! I took it whole notha level and started to put cotton coil around the edges. Its the only combo that keeps the Amla oil from getting everywhere! I always ask for extra bags when I go to Target!

I thought I was the only one who uses Target bags!!! Too funny!

ditto... this is TOO funny! i also use Wal-Mart bags when i'm desperate... but yeah, i LOVE them Target bags!!!

I only spend 97 cents for 15 plastic caps at Waltmert, but now I need to get my hands of some FREE bags from Target.

I usally have to double up my caps because my products still leaks. This is a great idea for my fellow BIG headed among us! :D

After viewing this thread, I decided to try it today. I have to admit that I felt a little weird and I probably would have been embarrassed if someone saw me with it on my head. :ohwell: Okay, I have to say this way is SO MUCH BETTER than using a regular plastic cap! No dents on the forehead, no excess hair product leakage, no excessive hair sweating or excessive "wet" hair....the best part of all: it is SO EASY on the hairline! I don't have to worry about pulling the cap over my ears (which can be uncomfortable) in order to prevent hairline breakage. The plastic bag also feels so much comfortable overall for sleeping...I love it. Thanks Patient1 for the suggestion! I will only use a plastic cap for conditioning treatments now.

:) Oh the things that bond us LHCF ladies!

That's true! After trying on the plastic bag and feeling a little "weird"...I was thinking "those ladies can get me to try *almost* anything." However, I am glad I tried this because it really is better than the plastic cap!

'Wunnerful..wunnerful..wunnerful';) . I used to use regular old grocery bags when I conditioned--did not know squat about overnight baggies until LHCF......just had to avoid the colored printing, sat on one once with shorts on...loooovely red and blue tattoo result:lol: ! I never make it through the night with a regular elastic cap, I tore it off half awake or in my sleep..think I'll try the grocery bag tonight...especially after peeping DARKEMPRESS' nightly baggy growth...like woweee:eek:   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
