Are u gonna stay with Elucence or switch back to your previous relaxer? I was gonna try Elucence but I decided to use the Affirm lye instead. I have very course hair so my hair definitely wouldn't have took with Elucence. Thanks for posting your results.
Are you my hair twin? Your new growth pics kinda resemble mine, especially the 2/26 one. Maybe not twin because I wouldnt be drooling if I had your hair but a possible distant cousin? It's funny because my touch ups come out the same way as your's did. exactly like yours did! As a result my hair is only bone straight touch up day. I don't know if that's concidered underprocessing or just not bone straight but I'm not re doing my hair to fix it. It does make it hard for me to separate new growth in some spots though...I think it's only concidered underprocessing if you wanted bone straight or maybe it's processed fine but did'nt get pulled taunt enough.

i'm waiting for digitalrain's results using the extra strength formula of the elucence relaxer. if all turns out well for her then i'll consider using that next or go back to motions kids mild relaxer which burned the heck out of me, but it did work.i'm so depressed
. i've never considered my hair coarse or resistant enough to use an extra strength relaxer. i've always used kids mild formulas.why me??

i was just comparing the pics of my newgrowth from 1/05/04 to the elucence pic and i reallyyyyyyyyyyy dont see a difference.aint this some stufffffff.lol i went through he!! to get the darn thing and now i wish i would have never bothered. i dont know who elucence is designing these relaxers for, i always thought my hair was the average for black folks. me oh my :sigh:
Wow I agree, it looks more like a texturizer than a full out relaxer. But like every one said, your hair still looks great. From what I was told the Extra Strength Elucence is not the same as Super in other brands. Now I'm wondering how well the Extra Strength will perform since I have very resistant hair.
bree,
Your hair looks underprocessed, but looks good anyway! What relaxer did you use before? (Hope you haven't already answered this question in this thread; if so, don't do it again...I'll find it. Has it been longer than usual between touch-ups?

So the kids relaxer you were using seemed stronger than this one??? WOW! Is Elucence just really that mild all the way around?
