I Orderd a Flat Iron and This is what I Received...

Wow, tons of stuff! I have a HANA professional and it is the best flat iron I've ever owned--and I own 5-6, sad I can't even remember. :look:

I just ordered a runway from them and got all of the same stuff in your pics. When i got my Hana Elite, they sent me a bunch of stuff and a $25 check and asked that you donate it, I think it was around Christmas or Thanksgiving a year or so ago.

I fee that for thick stranded curly hair that retains it's pattern well that the Hane Elite may not be ideal. I feel like this iron is more for fine haired ladies that lose curl easily by stretching the hair out. It is incredibly lightweight. Other irons are heavier and the weight makes it easier to straighten stubborn curls but on wimpy, frizzy hair such as my own the weight will pull and tug and break the hair which is why I need an iron like the Hana Elite. I think the Sedu was a perfect weight but unfortunately it didn't seem to keep my hair straight so well. So I definitely recommend this to fine haired ladies but maybe not so much for thicker hair. I wish it was just a tiny bit weightier.

I can tell you that the Hana Pro works fabulously with thick hair and the Elite is the upgrade...This iron is just fire, period! I'm glad that it worked for you as well!

Wow! The Hana looks so pretty, and you got so many extras. I didn't know anything about this brand until your post. I thought Sedu was the iron of choice here. Is the Hana better? I'm definitely in the market for a new flat iron and was pretty much set on the Sedu. Reading your review and doing my research now! I need to get my Christmas wish list ready for DH!

Thanks for posting your review! I've been lusting over the Hana irons on misikko.com for a while, and trying to also get my bi-racial friend with BSL hair to try it since she uses an old Hot-Tools metal plated iron that fries her ends...I was about to order a Cortex from Ebay but I may just save that dough and splurge on the Hana Elite or Hana Pro for my bday next month.

I also thought of trying a Remington 2" flat-iron but IDK. I need an iron with at least 1.5-2" plates. I was going to try the Babyliss Nano Titanium, and had no idea that Babyliss was just Conair...my Conair doesn't get the job done properly. My Maxius Miniglide is great for the edges and for when I had short hair (a fauxhawk), but doesn't do anything to this thick head of hair!
