I feel your pain; however, YOU must keep "your" eyes on the Lord. The Lord may have a "different" mate in mind for you.

Your "present" boyfriend has to walk his own path and way with the Lord.

^^Well spoken Ivonnovi. Scripture also tells us that all things work out for good for those in believe in Him. I join you in praying for your boyfriend. Whether he is with you or not, let's keep him in prayer. Let God's will be done in this matter.

Your post makes me think of a former brother-in-law who went through so much pain in his marriage/divorce that years later he says his ex-wife ran him to the Lord and he thinks the Almighty for her. He was going through so much he had no one else to turn to but God. He's been walking consistently with the Lord for decades now. His ex-wife, however is still so deceived, believing worldly goods and popularity is the answer to her problems. She hasn't found her way, don't know if she's even looking.

I share the short version of this story to ask that we seek God's will in this matter as we lift your boyfriend up in prayer. God knows your heart and your boyfriend's heart as well. It may take time for him to come to understand and appreciate God's love for him. It also takes discernment to not be deceived by the world.
