As some of you may or may not know, I live where the whether here is super dry. That is one of the reasons I went natural. However, since finding this board and paying more attention to my hair I am noticing that it is getting harder to stay moisturized with the winter coming. I am hoping to keep up the growing process throughout this whether.

I say all of that to ask if anyone can recommend something to help me. My hair is still soft but not like during the summer. I just don't want to spend the whole winter in braids, spraying everyday just to stop breakage. I really believe that is why it is not as long as I would like by now. That and the fact that I had no idea how to care for my hair back then. Anyway, thanks in advance. The faster the response, the better. I am at work and will be headed to sally's. Oh and they don't have a lot of items like most of you use so list as many items, regimens, whatever as much as possible. Thanks /images/graemlins/kisses.gif Q

queeny, Have you tried the plastic cap method? After I saw Den1's AMAZING progress with it...I decided to give it a try. I picked up a few processing caps at Sally's the other day for 49 cents. Since I've been using the caps at night...I have woken up to super soft...moisturized hair. I also added shea butter into my regimen recently...and it is really helping to prevent dry...frizzy ends. /images/graemlins/up.gif

YES, I would definitely recommend the plastic cap method. I spray s-curl on my hair concentrating on my ends and I wake up with SUPER moisturized and silky hair /images/graemlins/grin.gif
