I need help!!!! Mom has hard to curl or hold curl hair..

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should use on my mothers hair. I haven't tried many products. A stylist once told us to use Lottabody, that only makes her hair wet and straight as a board. It doesn't matter if she sits under a dryer or has hours for it to air dry. Her hair just doesn't respond. Please help me to help my mother. erplexed

Well...what products have you used and is it humid where you are?

Not sure, but I think that if the hair cant hold a curl, it means that the strands are damaged and 1) can either be fixed by protein treatment or 2) are damaged beyond repair (because of overprocessing).

Hopefully some of the more experienced ladies will chime in on this one.
