I Met SHIMA at Bronner Bros.

topnotch1010

Real Housewife of Houston
I don't know who all went to the show this past weekend but did anyone else see her? She had a booth in the back around the 1200 section. She was really nice and her hair was VERY long, healthy, and all hers!

She wanted me to hold up her oil and I obliged just to get a pic. She was super sweet. Did anyone else see her?

I hate that I missed the show this year! I will have to make it back to a show soon. So you were able to tell it was her hair?

Oh wow.....that's actually kinda cool.
She didn't have that 90ish vibe about her in person? I swear something about all of her pics and videos looks so dated

gabulldawg You can always go to the August show, although I heard it's not as good as the February show. I always go to the February show.

I could very much tell that it was her hair. You can tell that she's in the middle of a deep relaxer stretch because her roots were puffy but the ends of her hair were a little thin like she needed a trim. When you look at it, you can just tell that it's in fact her hair and it's one of the longest heads of hair I've ever seen. It was really soft, moisturized and shiny.

D.Lisha She comes off as a little old fashioned and she uses a camera to take all of her videos. That might be why the quality may be a bit lower.

Cool photo!

Where was the show?

CurliDiva Thank you! Bronner Bros Hair Show is held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Downtown Atlanta, GA

How funny that she wanted you to pose with her hair oil! :) lol!

:lachen: prettybyrd Giiiiirl, I just did it to get the photo to have something to show you guys. Her oil is a mixture of natural oils that would in fact help someone who is clueless about haircare. Since I've been here for a while, I don't need it. I just use EVCO, which is one of her ingredients. Her videos have helped me though so I didn't mind.

Is it wrong to have a 90s vibe? I gather she's not a Nikos cousin coz she fell out with some of the other cousins years ago.

Aw, you look like you had a great time! I am a fan of Shima's hair. She's doing something right. Her hair looks lush and thick.

I'm sorry, I was just kidding. Anyway, I heard the oil was pretty good. I'll take a seat, thanks, I was tired anyway (zzzz)

:lachen::lachen::lachen: I get that from her too! Like i should be hearing En Vogue singing in the background or something:grin: I thought i was the only one that felt that...as if she wears pantyhose with opentoe shoes or something with the seams showing:look:

But its cool that you got to meet her! I actually really love her videos.

Lol, glad someone feels me on this! I know I couldn't be the only that got the vibe. To me it seems as if all her videos and pics have what I call the "90's" fog layered on top of them. Take a look at her oil/product cover:

C'mon now! lol.

Also, I feel that there's nothing wrong with having a 90's vibe at all, however being the type of person I am (i.e graphic designer/art lover) I the first thing that catches my eye is the visual appeal of a product and honestly....if it isn't aesthetically pleasing....I'm jst not feeling it. In the end it becomes harder for me to take the product/seller seriously (unless I set out to do my own research in regards the product itself)
That's all i'm saying.....not trying to step on any toes or anything :). [it's jst my personal preference]

Its great you got to meet her! She always struck me as being an old soul though I have no idea how old she is. I agree D.Lisha, the graphic on her bottle is so old school. Even the turquoise/pink combo screams 1991.

I would never buy her oil because I prefer my own blends, but I have to give credit where credit is due business wise.
