I currently take Hairfinity vitamins and I recently received a newsletter raving about Emu oil. Am I just late or is this the new miracle oil? Has anyone tried it? I looked up the price on some of the sites and its pretty cheap.

Yep. There are probably threads, a lot of us have or do use this in our beauty routines. I used to use it on my face. Lots of folks use it on their hair, too expensive for me.

I used it simply as a moisturizer. Then I started to get grossed out by the process of extracting oil from the birds so I switched back to regular moisturizer and olive/coconut oil.

It's made out of the backfat of the Australasian bird. I hear it even smells like chicken grease. :yep: I wont be using it for moral reasons, but I have heard of it being used primarily in skincare.

yep. Using it and loving it. :) It's proven to boost hairgrowth and is great for skin.

For the moralists, they usually come from the farms that use the emu for their meat, so the emu aren't just harvested for their fat.

been using this for the last two weeks. don't know why i never tried this before. love love love this oil...so far. using it on both hair and skin

Yep, I've been using it for a yea or so. It is also good to treat eczema. You can order it from Camden Grey. Yes, it is made from the Emu bird. The birds are not killed for their oil, they are killed for their meat. The oil is a byproduct.
