I made it to 7 weeks ladies

I haven't had a relaxer in 7 weeks and my breakage I had about two weeks ago has tapered off thanks to Jerseygirls regime and the dudley rebuiler tip. I am so proud of my self, I feel like dancing /images/graemlins/bdance.gif. I am going to get a relaxer this week so I can be cute for my first day at my new school. For me the key to streching the relaxer was protein treatments to stop the breakage. I had to use more of them and I went through a tube of ors a week starting about 3 weeks ago. That had made all of the difference. I am going to try to wait 9 weeks next time.

/images/graemlins/band2.gif Yeah!!!! /images/graemlins/clap.gif I'm so happy for ya! I also used protein treatments to extend mine but I used the big gun (Aphogee Treatment for Damaged hair). What a difference it made. Next time I don't think I will go that strong as I was experimenting but it sure did work. I'm going to try to go 16 weeks. I had my last touch up at 12 weeks.

I am so glad that the Dudley's Hair Rebuilder worked for you. The Dudley's is one of the reasons my hair stop breaking so much. It makes your hair stronger and softer. What shampoo did you use? /images/graemlins/bouncy.gif

Dionne: so you like the ORS too huh??? I love it!!! This is a definite staple..
as for the Dudley's tell me more!! the price (i know dudley's is $$$) and if possible could one of you ladies post the ingredients>>?

Good for you Dionne! /images/graemlins/grin.gif In the begining of 2002 I used to get a retouch every 6 weeks. I now wait 8-10 weeks and my hair is doing well. The last retouch was at 10 weeks and I experienced some breakage, but I think the key is to protein and moisturize(thanks pebbles) and you can go the distance. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I used the dudleys deluxe shampoo and mizani shampoo JerseyGirl. I really think the rebuilder rebuilds your hair. It has made my hair feel so much stronger but it doesn't get hard and crunchy either. I really like that stuff. I went to the Dudleys salon about 10 mintues from my house for a wash and set and they asked if I used the rebuilder before because they noticed weak spots in my hair filling out. I bought three new bottle of it. I am going to try the dudleys hair dress you hair dresser recommended to you for you daughter also.

I don't know where you live, but in NY the Hair Rebuilder retails for about $11. It doesn't make your hair feel hard, and it really helps to stop breakage. Good stuff, indeed.

I live in greensboro nc and I can get it for about 9 bucks a bottle. It really is good stuff. Everyone should get some.

Hey what is Jersey girl's regime and how much did you pay for the Dudley's hair rebuilder. I'd like to cut my breakage to none at all since when my hair breaks it breaks at increments of 5-6 inches.

JerseyGirl regime was washing with either Nexxus therapy or mizani shampoo. Condition with dudley hair rebuilder and mizani moisturefuse. I paid about 9 bucks for the hair rebuilder.

Congrats Dionne and good luck with your touch up. Maybe you can treat yourself and buy something from Lush as a reward /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
