Do you need to be a star to rock this look or can I wear this to Target?

You can wear it at target. Just expect some people to have the stank face. If you have the desire to do it, then by all means be you. I'm no expert, I could wear a v neck tee and skinnies every day and keep it moving. I'm boring lol

I think she was talking about the hair.

oh....then in that case, it's a bit much for Target.....however, a girls night out on a friday or saturday night, you could totally pull the entire look off!

The hair could be rocked e'rday, e'rday, e'rday, e'rday!!

The outfit & hair combined... depends whos at Target:lick::drunk:

I like it all- hair clothes and shoes but I'd never wear anything like that in public or at least not those boots paired with short shorts.

I love leelah James !

No why would you dress like that purposely to go to Target ? It's a cute outfit ,a bit 2003 .. Nonetheless great for a night out

I would wear a modified version yes indeed. I would loose the shorts and boots for a long skirt/pants/capri's and some more toned down shoes. Everything else is ok.

I agree with bold, now minus the boot with flat can work at tarjay, but its an awesome look for a night on the town

Just don't rock hair like that at the movies. I had someone block my view with her hair one time in a crowded theater. It's cute otherwise lol.

Lol, you tryinta hook up with the Target Branch Manager? I'd do the top with some jeans & flats, and save the hair and the boots for a GNO. Maybe not even then...lol, we're all married with kids and very boring!

I say YES, with a slight modification:

Change the boots for some gladiator sandals.

Not sure if she's LJ's hair twin, but it kinda reminds me of DrC's hair.

If I were a few years younger (about 30 :lachen:) I'd rock the heck out of this look with gladiator shoes instead of the boots> The haters would be flapping their jaws while checkin' me out at festivals, dances, happenin' clubs. outdoor concerts - but not at the movies.

NO to the necklace paired with big earrings
NO to the white boots (I personally think white boots look cheap)
Lose some of the excessive bangles

Other than those 3 modifications.....I would wear it :)

I love her hair as well! I dunno who would be a hair twin. Hopefully there will be lots of pix posted. hint, hint.

DrC

Ohhh yeah, now I remember. Love that fro. What does it look like in June of 2012?

As of June, it was give or take 1 1/2 to 2 inches away from Arm pit length.

I cut it back in April 2012 because I had too many layers. It looked like a damn box :lachen: so I went the luckiestdestiny route and cut out the layers to make it pretty even. It's much better now. :yep:

ETA: I don't have pics since I've been wearing my hair in genie locs for months.
