I love my natural hair but I hate the frizz!!!

My hair is so frizzy that as soon as I finish doing my hair it looks like I had it in for a week because of the frizz. I am willing to try anything (except relaxing and heat) to control the frizz.

Any suggestions?

How about using a hair butter? If you put it on while your hair is still wet it will help to seal in the moisture.

what do you mean by "doing it?" what do you do to style your hair?

i like Garnier Fructis Leave-In Conditioner. it is thick and creamy when it first goes on, but dries pretty light. good for defining and cutting down on frizz. (don't know what's in it right now though... )

also, i find that my hair frizzes and acts unruly when i need to clarify. i like ACV rinses but if you prefer a good shampoo or other method, you might try this and follow up with a deep conditioning treatment.

HTH and best of luck to you :D

Hi jjjackie,
Maybe some gel would work.
There is:
Fantasia IC gel with sparkle lites

Personally, when my frizzies start to act up I use Just Jam, it controls my super thick 4a/b hair and rinses out easily.

Also good ole' heavy grease can work sometimes. I notice when I use the creme press in a yellow & white jar (sorry cant remember name right now)
as a regular hair grease my hair has less frizz.

You could also try an activator gel such as Long Aid Activator gel found at Walmart or Walgreens. :)

Good luck & HHG!

I have basically given up on all hairstlyes like twists or braids because they never look neat. I am currently wearing my hair with two side braids in the front and a bun in the back. I like this but I think that since my hair is only 7-9" long it might be to much minipulation. I clarify every other week so it proably is not that and I use garnier fructis sleek and shine leave -in. Maybe I am one of those people who needs to use beeswax or something heavy like that.
