Just curious to know by the experts on your take on doing a corrective no- lye over a lye. (gasp) I know I know. I'm saying if I thought of it I know others have too- they just didn't say it.

I'm not an expert, but I will be going over my texturized lye ends, with no lye in 4 weeks times, due to two different textures.it will be interesting read what others have to say on this subject

I alternate between lye and no-lye relaxers all the time. I've never had a problem with it. I've done a corrective relaxer application with a no-lye relaxer over a lye too.
I know most people are going to say it's a No-no but I'm just going with my experience. Now remember everything doesn't work for everyone!

Thank-you!! I don't henna hair, I only tried once or twice in the past. my natural hair colour is jet black, i tried a semi-permanet rinse and i managed to get very suttle red highlights, i'm going to do rinses more often to get richer and deeper red undertones.

I do this too, with no ill effects.
