What do you use so that your twistouts don't frizz up and revert. I'm thinking ahead for spring and summer next year. I can go out the house with it defined and then later its a poof ball. Nonie I see you use John frieda. Have you used it on twistouts? I'm trying yo find something drug stored so I can get it when I need it but open to ordering online.

ORS Twist and Loc Gel works pretty well for me. I coat each section with a moisturizer Qhemet AOHC or SheaMoisture and then I but the Loc Gel on top. My hair comes out moisturized, soft and defined without much reversion. But of course it doesn't work in extreme humidity.

Also, I noticed that twist outs with smaller twists frizz and revert less.

I've been thinking about experimenting with Sabino Moisture Block to see if it works without the use of heat.

@pookaloo83, I only used John Frieda Frizz Ease on straightened hair because that's when I really want humidity out of my hair. There was a time I tried to use it just on my twists the way people use Castor oil on hair as a sealant by applying it to wet hair to seal in the moisture. My twists felt very soft and nice to touch, and the shine was a bonus...but the problem came at night when I needed to baggy. :perplexed I cannot have serum on my head when I'm baggying; it'd give me itches like crazy--baggying bare is what works for me. So I had to forgo that idea.

I don't baggy when my hair is straightened which is why JF works for me then.

When I wear twist-outs, I don't use any products. I just undo my usually bare twists and let them be. This was a no-product twist-out:

When I tried to do a twist out with product, the results were scary :nono:: I looked like "who did what to you and why"
