I am so jealous, you and your hair are so prettyful! My main goal is getting my hair very thick. I want my hair so thick, it'll look as if I'm a straightened natural, I've always wanted that.

^^^ on your Regi, Aviah... You dust as needed, about how often is that? That really is a nice thick head of hair. Great job.

It would be about twice a year?

how & when did you transition? What was your starting point as a natural?

I transitioned for 17 months (was supposed to be 18 but I got tired). My starting point was about SL at the back, I had about 5.5 inches of hair all over.

man i stan for your hair. sooo pretty. great progress, Aviah!

I'm loving your new cut, so sleek! Things like that tempt me...

your hair is so pretty! thanks for posting... do more videos please :)

Oooh I cringe at my videos:perplexed... What would you like me to do?

Do keep in mind the hair I had before LHCF was still on my head. It had been dyed, flat ironed every two weeks, never really DC'd, and relaxed.

Now I use CON 1x per week, DC with ORS Replensihing Conditioner mixed with LeKair Shea Butter Cholestrol. I recently added Mayo with egg and coconut oil as a prepoo. I moisturize with Allways leave in oil moisturizer, and when that pic was taken I had been in cornrows/twists for about 8 weeks back to back. I used heat 3x last year. Hardly ever blowdry, and dust as needed.

Though it has thickened up very well some of it is due to my hair not having much product in it.

And a BIG thank you for the sweet comment Sharifeh!

Hey Aviah,

Great thickness! What kind of heat method did you use. How often did you blowdry?

Tension method with cool air. Or briefly with hotter air if rushed for time. That only happened one last year though...

I blowdry maybe 1x per year, with heat 2x at most (with & without heat). It was a sort of blow out on the middle 2 pics.

Anything, really. I just love your hair. Here are a few suggestions - twist out/braid out, flat iron, length check, and trim technique

ETA: I would also enjoy a video about why you went natural and what you like about it
