I just wanted to say....

....that I'm really happy so far with my HJ! :) I know this really isn't informative, but I noticed it when I was moisturizing my hair today. I've only been in this a little over a month with a couple of set backs in the first 2 weeks because I didn't want to cut my hair (which I eventually did) so please keep in mind I really haven't noticed length changes. However while I was combing, some shed hairs came out. I tried pulling them and they wouldn't break even though I pulled really really hard! I have very fine hair and in the past that was never the case. Every time I pulled a shed hair, it would snap quite easily. It was one of the ways I could test whether hairs I sometimes would get in the sink were either mine or from my extensions (because the extension hair sometimes sheds too or breaks). I could tell because the extension hair was always more durable than mine, but now my hair is durable too :) I'm still taking care of my ends because I know they are fragile, but knowing my hair is stronger makes me feel so good. Also, my hair feels soooo soft! By keeping up with my moisturizing nightly, my hair just feels so soft and nice; not oily.

I'm still not fully comfortable with my length, so I still wear my extensions, but I know it will come and am just so happy that what I'm doing is actually making a difference

Yay! I remember being where you are on your HHJ where you begin to see a difference. It's the little things that help you to see that you are on your way. Your hair is getting stronger, and strong hair is healthy hair!

Ditto. I just got home from celebrating St. Patty's Day with my friends, and I decided to challenge myself to not rock my wigs or weaves all weekend. Today was Day 1 of the challenge and for whatever reason I got so much unexpected attention. It could only be the hair I wasn't doing anything or looking for anything. One guy actuallysaid it was awesome to see me rocking my natural hair and thats it was gorgeous, he didn't know this was my first public attempt. It nice to see your milestones and to have other attest to the accomplishments you made on your HHJ. OP I hope when you are semi-comfortable you challenge yourself to enjoy your successes and just let it hang loose for the weekend!:yep:

I remember that feeling! Moisture is what my hair had been craving for years! When I finally started moisturizing with quality products, my hair health took off!

Great work!
