I just purchased Aveda....

I too have jumped on the Aveda bandwagon. I went to the Aveda store here on Tuesday after work, I spotted what I wanted to buy as soon as I entered the store. Just wanted to get in and get out... do not pass go or collect $100  . I bought Sap Moss shampoo and conditioner. I wanted to get a sample of the DR conditioner but the sales girl claimed they didn't have any samples because of their "generous return policy." So I bought the full sized DR intensive treatment. Total came to $58 my bag was tiny. I'm feeling a little guilty about spending so much for such a tiny bag of products. I have a huge set of storage drawers filled with hair products already. I'm going to try them tonight. If this solves my crackly tangly end problem then I'm willing to pay and will buy the big ones next time. My hair has been so tangly lately even after a serious trim I've been tempted to go back to braids because detangling weekly to wash it is breaking my progress off.:ohwell:

I'm about to purchase the DR poo/condish/treatment, Smooth Infusion poo and condish, Damage Control, Hang Straight, Smoothing Fluid, Anti Humectant, Spray on Shine and maybe the Flax Gel. :look:

I've already put together the regimen and I don't even have the products yet!

Okay, y'all are not shy with the $$$ when it comes to hair products. That makes me feel better about going out today and "completing" my DR set. I am happy to patronize Aveda. They make quality products that deliver what they promise. They are not full of fillers, cheap ingredients, and substances that make the hair just feel good. I mean, the hair does feel good but the product is actually beneficial to the hair. And since DR is primarily promoted as a product for chemically treated hair, I have to believe that this product was created with "us" in mind. (I know there are chemically treated women of other races out there too, but probably more so our race than any other) So, for Aveda's product development team being mindful of our hair needs, I am happy.

I went back AGAIN (Hi Serenity Peace:eek: ) today and got the Sap moss Con & gloss. The cond is going back tomorrow. I'll get the SI cond to try next weekend:)

The one thing I am waiting on is for Aveda to make a really deep conditioner. Both the DR and SI conditioners are nice but they aren't deep conditioners in my view.
The Aveda DR Intensive Restructuring Treatment is considered the deep conditioner in the Aveda DR line.
