You guys are lucky - that's £40 i just bought the exact same three things yesterday and my bill was £72 (read over $140!!) Though i have to say it seems to have kept my extremely dry hair moisturised since my wash this morning(11 pm over here now) with the DR shampoo and conditioner I'll keep an eye out on your review and post mine on the treatment by Monday:)

I'm sorry ladies for just getting back to ya'll....tonite has been busy!

I did'nt get the larger sizes of th DR line...I wanted to wait to see how I would like it first before I buy anything else. I paid $26 bucks for each product, all the same size.

I know you and la flaca love this stuff, so because of you both and so many others who declares that aveda is the bestest of the best, I decided to buy it. Thanks.

THAT'S ALL IT CAME UP TOO? You have a hook up? Because I bout the 1 litre dr con for 87 bucks and the 1 litre dr poo for 67 bucks, and the large size dr intensive treatment for 68 bucks and those 3 things were over 200! What sizes were those, and if you have a hook up tell a sister lol, because that's a lot of products you just mention.

   ....awwww, thank you for sharing what you have purchased! I'm sure I am going to love aveda just as much as the rest of you, I was in sticker shock yesterday. But, I just came out of 'guesswho's thread about aveda and I realize that you LHCF ladies don't play and if you say that it works, it works.

Pray your hair dosent like it lol, when I first got the dr line I kept the receipt in my bag lol, I'm proceeding to do the treatment and when I remove the plastic cap and felt my hair I was like damn, damn, damn! Now how I, I gonna do this lord! Lol what I'm I to do if it works it works, I've been using it everyweek and so far so good a little goes a long way the litre size shampoo will last a long time since I shampoo once a week and conditioner wash with tresemme during the week, but the intensive treatment which is the gem is going down I need to buy another I think I got like 5 uses from it I'm guessing next time I'll check, I can't wait for your review:)

I got all regular sizes because I was afraid that if I tried Aveda products and didn't like them, I would then be stuck with the big litres. Well, from now on, I will definitely be purchasing the larger ones. Truth be told, I didn't have that much money to buy all large litres, but it's totally worth it. No hook up, sadly.

I'm getting rid of a lot of my products, except for my Dominican deep conditioners. I think some of the ladies were on to something when suggesting that we stick to one product line rather than having all these different kinds of products from various lines.

The one thing I am waiting on is for Aveda to make a really deep conditioner. Both the DR and SI conditioners are nice but they aren't deep conditioners in my view.

I ain't done yet with Ms. Aveda. I'm finna look into the following products:

Sap Moss Concentrate Shampoo
Sap Moss Pre-Poo
Black Malva Shampoo
Rosemary Mint Shampoo and Conditioner
Light Elements Mist (I have the serum already)
Potion Line
Brilliant Shampoo and Conditioner
...and maybe some of the molding gels as well...;)

Again, we Aveda Queens need to purchase some stock in the company with all the money/business we contribute...

Ok, now tell me something, how does your hair feel 'after' it dries? Do you still have to add other products to your hair to keep it soft?

That's what I was thinking too...that's why it took me so long to purchase cause I kept saying to myself..."that stuff is toooooooooo expensive", but when I thought about it, at least if it doesn't work for me, I can take it back for a FULL REFUND...which is right up my alley!

:lachen: :lachen: I try not to feel too badly about it, as I'm getting rid of all my other products and will just stick with one line. There are products that I have that haven't even been opened, so I'm tryna sell those or give them away and just stick with what I've found. I'd rather spend a little extra on products that I know will work rather than waste money, time...and perhaps a little hair, buying up products that don't. Seriously, though, I will stick with what I have and try not to buy up more Aveda products until I'm finished with what I have (yeah, right); although I think that Sap Moss pre-poo is totally needed...;)

Well you are natural so you know our hair have these drying qualities that I hate but after rinsing out the intensive treatment I was cooking dinner so I just rinse and went back in the kitchen my hair looked FAB! Like I added leave ins and stuff, I don't know what these ingredients are I really don't but its really amazing stuff, I leave it on for over an hour I don't do that 3 minute stuff its too expensive to leave on for 2 or 3 mins lol, I do 30 mins with heat and just chill for the rest until I'm ready to wash it out
