Happy New Year Ladies!

Here is another one: Ninapruitt

IMO she has one of the best heads of hair on Youtube! She takes a lot of time with her videos doing step by step instructions. Love her channel!

She is now transitioning and I believe 16 mos post.

Here are a few of her vids....but def check her channel out. She's made really great progress is less than 2 years.

*** Picks jaw up off of the floor with that first video*** I had no idea that all of that hair was under that scarf!!!

Off to watch the second video....

This is great! I especially love seeing how the ladies are transitioning/stretching, and dealing with the 2 textures seeing as I am now relaxed (after 3 yrs natural) But I plan on being a stretcher! Thanks for posting this!

Nina's hair is STUPID!! I just found her a couple of days ago on youtube and I subscribed....love her hair.

Ladybug has beautiful hair. Funny, I use to roll my hair like that with newspaper. Every Sunday for church, I would have spirals. Of course, mine did not look like hers but I thought I was the ish.:yep:

OMG I didnt know people knew about the paper bag for curling hair!!!!

When I was 12 my mama told me to use a paper bag to roll my bangs and I was like WTF? I looked at her like she was a nut bag. When I tried it that curl stayed IN!!!

I used some strips of paper bag to curl my ends on a braid out that I did not too long ago. It really works!

:lol::lol: GIRL!!! My mom learned this from her mom and grandma! She would tell me that they wanted all that long hair to look good and couldn't afford rollers so they used paper bags. When she told me about it I didn't think she was crazy. I just rolled my junk up and SHAZAM! The curls held on natural AND relaxed hair. The funny thing is that I revisited this a few weeks ago and had the biggest curly fro lol. You don't have to worry about discomfort or bad ends and your moisture isn't sucked out of your hair. Excellent! :yep:

Thanks for sharing.
The paper bag rollers - bringing back the memories. I use some fabric rollers that are like paperbag rollers to get the same look today. I'm going to try paper bag rollers on my dds for easter now!
