That sounds really crazy, but I'm just curious/hopeful that all my work is paying off. So far most is just normal shedding. I don't see the split ends I used to see all the time. Does anyone else do "The Inspection".
I used to SAVE shed hairs in a journal and check for breakage vs. shedding. It got too traumatic, so I trashed the journal.
I have to remind myself that if I am wearing the same airdried bun for a week, the shed hair will look more startling than if I combed my rollerset straight hair daily.
I check the hairs sometimes that are left in my comb when I detangle in the shower. And if I rollerset I checking the shedding in my comb a few times during the week. I try not to do it too often so I don't get /images/graemlins/nuts.gif. I just wanna be sure that I'm doing more shedding than breaking!!
