I henna'ed! (with pics)

It seems to have calmed my hair down a bit.
The first time I henna'ed, I let the mixture oxidize for about 5 hours and left it on for an hour and a half. It didn't do much for color, but it was shinier and siginifantly stronger.

Mix 1:
I didn't measure, but I'm using Karishma Henna and used 1/3 of the package
Lime Juice
1 cup of chamomile tea
juice squeezed from 2 clementines
suave coconut conditioner

The second time I hennaed was 4 days later, it oxidized for 8 hours and i left it in for about 6 hours. My hair is a really subtle auburn-reddish in the sunlight and my curls have calmed down if that makes sense. There's less frizz and more clumping together...it also isn't standing up at much, which is kinda a bummer. Womp. But overall, I'm happy with the results. A lot less shedding and such.

Mix 2:
1/3 package Karishma Henna
Lime Juice
Rasberry Zinger Tea
Ginger (for smell)
Cinnamon (for smell)
Nutmeg (for smell)
lots and lots of ground cloves (for smell)
Orange Blossom Water

The first picture is no henna, the second is the first henna treatment and the third picture is the second henna treatment. It's a cell phone picture, so the color is a bit off.

I am really digging your mix #2. That zinger tea has hibiscus for that pretty magenta color!

I can't really see the color, but I just wanted to say that your hair is gorgeous

'ello my fellow haitian. your hair looks lovely.

Woah, I just figured out the multiquote thing. Hey! Thank you. :yep:

The color seriously only shows up if i'm standing in direct sunlight. The benefits I mostly received were extra strength, thickness, and shine. And thank you, :)

Your mix is making me hungry.

Lovely hair, very lush and thick!
