Tricking the president
Okay, i dont know if i mentioned this before, but my hair has becoe ridiculously thin in the last couple of months. i thougt it was because of the braids that i got in the end of march. i took them out in the beginning of may. i got a relaxer around the thrid week of may, and the stylist burned my scalp. it ws so bad that when i took down my wrap the next day, my hair was stuck to my scalp. anyways, i self-relaxed my hair this monday after 8 weeks. as i sit here flat ironing my hair i just saw that i have whole chunks of may hair that are only about 1 inch long. and this is all over my head. she burned them off with the relaxer.!well, after panicking i just realized that if i just noticed them its that my hair has grown and at least it will come in healthy. gotta look for that silver lining. i'm still a lil sad tho...

I'm sorry this happened to you but I'm glad you can still see a silver lining.

When I had relaxer burns I alway put Neosporin ointment on them, it helped them to heal quickly.

Sorry.

I'm sorry to hear this. However, I feel your pain. I went through this last year. It was mostly my fault- I'm not going to go into detail but I was very careless about applying relaxers all the way from who did it to what type. I just want to say you DON'T have to go natural- but that is your choice. Just baby those spots, keeping it moisturized and less manipulation. They'll grow back in no time. When this happened to me, I didn't have LHCF and I used blowdryers, curling irons, combed, brushed. Let that give you hope b/c if my hair grew back your's will too.
