Wild Growth Hair Oil is just simply amazing. It has made my new growth almost as straight as my hair. I tried to take a pic of my new growth and you can;t even see the demarcation line on camera and I currently have A FULL 1/2".

My hair is fine textured so I think the WGO does nto have much to fight with. But I am so happy. All week, my hair has been straight and I can see the length. When I wash my hair this weekend, I will post before and after pics.

Yes, I love it! I've been using it for a year now and it still works well for me. I like the way it keeps my hair well oiled and how it keeps my newgrowth very manageable. I went to get a bottle today, but the Sally's was sold out. I'll have to try again later this week.

BTW, your hair looks nice and healthy. Keep up the good work.

It is very good!
I've noticed that more & more BSS & other retailers are carrying this now!!

I love this stuff. I used this when I first washed my hair coming out of kinky twists for 3 months. I had 2-3 inches of new growth, but that combined with S-Curl made is manageable until I got a relaxer. Now it's my main oil. Glad you like it!

Thanks KT, it means a lot because I believe SouthernGirlz' and your album were the first 2 I ever viewed/stalked when I first joined LHFC.

I have never used this product but I finally got a whiff out of it at Sally's. Surprisingly, I can tolerate the smell :yep: I may buy it when my PJ impulse comes back.

What does WGO smell like?
To me it's on the brink of strong Olive Oil or maybe Castor Oil if too much is used. It's just a heavy oil, but your senses might be really sensitive & it could smell bad to you...
Go to a BSS & ask to see it if it's behind the counter, open the bottle & smell away!
Only your nose can tell yu if you can take it or not. Also, if you put it on wet hair before you dry (hooded, blow or air) the smell will go away or lessen. Less is more with this product!

WGHO is a great oil, it makes my new growth very straight and manageable too. I use it now as an overnight oil treatment, because its too much work to part my hair and oil it everyday.

Thank you Ashee! :)

I have been surging twice a day and I use on my roots a mixture of wild growth, castor oil and carrot oil and it seems to be doing very well. I can keep my hair longer in flat twists and I still rinse my hair daily without fail.

I love WGHO:love: It has saved my hair twice. I too use WGHO on wet hair and let dry. I have done this way since the first day that I use it...and there is no smell. It's a natural/herbal smell anyway...something that I expect from a natural product.

I love it too! The smell isn't bad to me, or maybe I am used to it. It does a number on my most ridiculous new growth, and yes, is great on wet hair and the scarf method. It gets two snaps up with a twist. :)

Gosh, I haven't used this stuff in YEARS. I remember though when I did use it, my 6-year-old was maybe 3 at the time and he used to stroke my hair over and over when I used it. I remember it making my hair really soft...

I just picked this up today. The smell was not too bad but I think I may need a few drops of an essential oil to mask it. I'll be trying this out on wash day this weekend.

Yeah I gotta give WGHO it's props. Before I swore this stuff off because something in it made me break out something awful. Now I just put it on my ends and I am good to go.

Hmmmm....I wonder if that could be it. I just started using WGO last week and now I'm breaking out on my back which has never happened before. I figured it must be from one of the hair products I was using. Is it still making you breakout?

Oh it doesn't anymore since I apply it on my ends only.

OMG! I thought I was the only one who broke out from using WGO! I only use it on my ends, and VERY sparingly on the roots. I don't apply near your forehead or sides of face. It took weeks to get my skin back together.:ohwell: But I just can't part w/ this oil.

Wild Growth Oil is good ! I wish I had known about this stuff when I first came back to the United States. Thanks Long Hair Care Forum ! :)
